Is there not a way to specify an expiration date for a classroom course certificate?

Why is there a difference in expiration feature depending on the type of course in REM?

Here is the screenshot for Elearning course type:

 

But for Classroom no expiration is possible:

The problem seems to be related to the Certificates Expiration feature already being activated on the “old” course types.  

After we added all the new course types the Certificate Expiration column doesn't automatically get added to these content types. We'll try to enhance this in the product but it’s solved easily by reactivating the Certificate Expiration feature: in REM site settings > Site collection features > ELEARNINGFORCE - REM: Certificates Expiration.
